After graduating from the University of Cincinnati Interior Design program in 1998, Rebekah started her career at FRCH as a member of the specialty retail team doing projects for clients including Lens Crafters, Timberland and Claire's Boutiques. In 2005 she left to start her consultancy, Rebekah Sigfrids Design, operating out of her studio in historic Covington, Kentucky. The work was a balance of high end residential design/development and branded retail environment concepting with a specialty in creating quick, hand drawn concept sketches.
Along with her professional work, Rebekah has maintained her connection to the University of Cincinnati by teaching retail and restaurant design studios as well as a course that focuses on the illustration of interior spaces.
In 2009 Rebekah put her studio on hiatus and moved to New York during which time she worked with Lippincott on environmental design concepts for brands including Samsung, Disney and Fegro Selgros. Having also spent this time experiencing as many shops, restaurants, bars, museums, shows and places of curiosity as she could, Rebekah is excited to return to Cincinnati to reopen her studio in Over the Rhine.
